BASIM, Kathleen (nee Pearson) 1931 - 2014 – surrounded by her loving family at the Delhi Nursing Home on Thursday, September 11th, 2014 in her 83rd year.  Beloved wife of the late Bob Basim (2006).  Loving mother of Larry Beemer (Patricia) of Kingsville, Kathleen Caron of Langton, Bonnie McIntyre (Sam) of Otterville, Brian Basim (Brenda) of Amherstburg and David Basim of Hagersville.  Kathleen will be lovingly remembered by Bob’s family, Sherry Hawkins (Richard) and John Basim (Joyce), all of Michigan.  Predeceased by Bob’s daughter, the late Donna Beemer.  Kathleen is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by her parents, the late Carlton & Lily Pearson.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Kathleen with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North  Simcoe for visitation on Monday, September 15th, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  Kathleen’s funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Mullin Officiating.  Interment:  Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Windsor on Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.  Those wishing to donate in Kathleen’s memory are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Society of Haldimand-Norfolk.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
