Death Notices

ERDELAC, Frank Anthony (September 7, 1933 - July 6, 2013) – surrounded by his loving family at his home in Delhi on Saturday, July 6th, 2013 in his 80th year.  Beloved husband of Hilda Erdelac of Delhi.  Loving father of Shonna Ethier (Ray) of Delhi, Robin Decker (Tim) of Cambridge, Kimberley Ryan (Mark) of Simcoe and Frank Erdelac of Hamilton.  Cherished grandfather & great grandfather of Paul (Dawn), daughter Brilee;  Rochelle Ethier;  Alanna Crowder, her children Evan, Graeme & Griffin;  Deanne Fong (Mike);  Danielle Ayotte (Paul), son Levon;  Nicole Ryan (Eli Wilson);  Mackenzie Morrow;  the late Matthew Ryan (2009);  Alycia Erdelac-Conroy (Matt) and Frank Erdelac (Jennifer Roche).  Frank will be lovingly remembered by his brother Jim Erdelac (Martha) and by Hilda’s sister Rose Marie Bernier.  Predeceased by his brothers Joe and John Erdelac.  Frank was a life long member of the Long Point Lions Club and enjoyed playing shortstop for the Walsingham Senators.  A private family visitation and funeral will be held at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe with Pastor Dan Abraham officiating.  Private interment of ashes:  Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.  Those wishing to donate in Frank’s memory are asked to consider Camp Trillium – Rainbow Lake or St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
