HAVILAND, Reginald Mac (November 6, 1921 - September 29, 2012) – promoted to the loving arms of his Lord & Saviour at the West Haldimand General Hospital, Hagersville on Saturday, September 29th, 2012 in his 91st year.  Beloved husband & best friend of 70+ years to Gwen Haviland (nee Bowen) of Townsend.  Loving father of Dianne Shanahan (Harry) of Cambridge, Richard Haviland (Marlene) of Waterford and the late Debbie Earls –2008 (Greg) of Delhi.  Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren & great grandchildren, Dawn Lidstone (Terry), children Brooke & Nicholas;  Leanne DeBoer (Luke), children Ciara, Logan, Dawson & Bryce;  Chad (Rita), children Kendra & Cole;  Ryan (Michelle), children Patrisha, Ryley & Austin;  Charlene Van Halteren (John), children Landon, Ty & Deacon;  Todd, children Morgan & Jaiden;  Nathan (Karen);  Shaun (Lindsay), daughter Madeline; and Brodie (Stacey), daughters Jessica & Molly.  Reg will be sadly missed by his brother Jack Haviland (Audrey) of Boston.  Predeceased by his brother Harold.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Reg with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Monday, October 1st, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  A home going service for Reg will be held in the chapel on Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Peter Lemont officiating.  Interment:  Greenwood Cemetery, Waterford.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Reg are asked to consider Boston Baptist Church.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199.  Special thanks to the nursing staff of West Haldimand Hospital - 3rd Floor for their compassionate care during our fathers final days.
