BRITTAIN, Luella Pearl (nee Johnson) August 10, 1921 - July 21, 2011 – surrounded by her loving family at the Cambridge Country Manor Nursing Home on Thursday, July 21st, 2011 in her 90th year.  Beloved wife of the late Bill Brittain (2005).  Loving mother of Patricia Trevena and her husband Ray of Simcoe, their children Tim, Jeff & Nancy Paiva (Nelson);  Ross and his wife Barbara of Waterloo, their children Paul (Beth) & Melanie Bergsma (Mark);  John and his wife Barb of Barry’s Bay;  Ed and his wife Lesley of Cambridge, their daughters Jenna (Pete Brodimas) & Tricia (Nick Valeriote);  Arnold and his wife Carrie of Ingleside; their children Mark & Jamie.  Proud great grandmother of Jacob, Marelle & Nicolas.  Luella will be lovingly remembered by her sister Hazel Riddoch (Andy) of Waterford;  by her sister-in-law Olive Brittain of Simcoe, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.  Predeceased by her parents, the late Walter & Effie Johnson and by sisters Ila Carpenter & Edna Broughton.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Luella with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3 for visitation on Friday, July 22nd, 2011 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.  Luella’s funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Robert Snell officiating.  Private interment:  Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe.  Those wishing to donate are asked to consider the Gideon Bible Society.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com  (519) 426-0199
