WINTEMUTE, Merel Edwin (September 21, 1950 - April 27, 2011) – surrounded by his loving family at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Wednesday, April 27th, 2011 in his 61st year.  Beloved husband of Dianne Wintemute of Delhi.  Cherished father and grandfather of Cheryl Terryberry (Tom) of Delhi, their son Tyler;  Laurie Gambriel (Curt) of Boston, their children Colin & Cadence;  Christine Casey (Jon), her son Bennett;  Paul Wintemute (Amanda) of Simcoe; their children Madison, Kobie & Shianna;  Amanda Wintemute of Simcoe and Travis Wintemute of Port Dover.  Lovingly remembered by his siblings Sharon Reagan (late Jerry) of Guelph, Marelee Lear (late Allan) of Hamilton and Brian Wintemute (Jan) of Port Dover.  Merel is also survived by many nieces, nephews & extended family.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Merel with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Thursday, April 28th, 2011 from 7-9 p.m.  Merel’s funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Raymond Thompson officiating.  Interment:  Greenwood Cemetery, Waterford.  Those wishing to donate are asked to consider Camp Trillium – Rainbow Lake.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
