TOMAJKO, Karen Frances (June 21, 1955 - April 2, 2011) - it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Karen Tomajko of Simcoe in her 56th year, at her residence on Saturday, April 2nd, 2011, surrounded by her husband and daughters. Karen was born June 21st, 1955 in Coleshill, England, and was an avid photographer and outdoor enthusiast. She leaves behind her beloved husband and soulmate, Steve Tomajko of Simcoe. Cherished mother and grandmother of Tara Oakley (Chris) of Ayr, their children Kinnon & Keith; and Trisha Sabourin (Steve) of Wingham, their children Mary & Paul. Karen will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Iris Brindley (Lew) of Elmira, Pauline Newell of Exeter, Rosaline Deshevy (Edward) of Guelph, Sheila Przeklasa (Tony) of Kitchener, Maureen Blackburn (Bob) of Edmonton, and Teresa Adam of Guelph. Karen is predeceased by her parents Paul and Ivy (Wilkinson) Bluitt and by her brother Kenneth Bluitt. Friends are invited to share their memories of Karen with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Wednesday, April 6th, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. A private family funeral service will be held . Those wishing to donate are asked to consider the Juravinski Cancer Centre, the Who Did It Club, the Norfolk General Hospital or any children’s charity.
