Kay HOWDEN-PAKE

HOWDEN-PAKE, Lillian Katherine “Kay” (nee Duncan) November 6, 1923 - February 28, 2011 – passed away at her home in Waterford on Monday, February 28th, 2011 in her 88th year.  Beloved wife of the late Orlaf Howden (1969) and the late Allan Pake (2005).  Cherished mother of Garnet Howden (Nellie) of Waterford, Janet Budden (Jim) of Embro, Wanda Walker (Doug) of Oakland, and Sue Renner (Roger) of Waterford.  Loving grandmother & great grandmother of Trevor Howden (Amber);  Michelle Hamilton, her children Clinton & Brehanna; Patrick Knott (Heather), children Sarah, Greg, Stephanie, Nathan, A.J., Cassandra & Rachel;  Natalie Schincariol (Merrick), children Anthony, Evan & Katie;  Jillian Keenan (Wes);  Adam Walker (Becky); Amanda Vidmontas (Paul);  Angela Renner;  Jenelle Renner;  and Jared Renner, his daughter Taylor.  Kay is also survived by her extended family Orlaf (Kaye), Bonnie, and Nancy (Joe) and all of their families.  Lovingly remembered by her siblings Dorothy Ferguson of Woodstock, Art Duncan (Vera) of Foldens and Cecil Duncan of Woodstock.  Predeceased by her sister Jean Gunn.  Kay was a long time member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Simcoe Branch.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Kay with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  Kay’s funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday afternoon at 2:00 p.m.  Interment:  Greenwood Cemetery, Waterford.  Those wishing to donate are asked to consider the Lung Association of Haldimand-Norfolk.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
