SCHURR, Mary “Annabelle”– it is with deep sadness that her family announces her passing on Sunday January 3rd, 2010 at Henderson Hospital, Hamilton after a brief struggle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family; daughters  Susan and her husband Tim Donovan; and Patti and her husband Jens Lohmueller.  Annabelle was predeceased by her husband Don Schurr in 1985. She also leaves behind a close knit group of family and friends.  Annabelle was blessed with a musical talent that she shared with the Norfolk Musical Arts Festival and the Vittoria Choir.  Annabelle was also an active member of the Simcoe Lioness Club and the Norfolk General Hospital Ladies Auxillary.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Annabelle with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Thursday January 7th, 2010 from 7-9 pm.  A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 8th, 2010 at 1 p.m. from St. James United Church, 203 John St, Simcoe with Rev. Mary Jo Patterson officiating.  Private interment of ashes at a later date.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Annabelle are asked to consider the Norfolk Musical Arts Festival or the Canadian Cancer Society.
