COLEMAN, Michael George - passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Friday, August 14th, 2009 in his 64th year.  Lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend, Anne Coleman of Simcoe.  Cherished father to Kate.  Mike is also survived by his sister Evelyn Coleman of Simcoe.  Mike will be sadly missed by many wonderful friends and associates.  Predeceased by his parents, the late Frank (1965) & Margaret (1997) and by his sister Marilyn Coleman (2001).  Mike was a car racing enthusiast, a sport he lived and breathed.  Of his many accomplishments, Mike served for 15 years as a Simcoe Town Councillor, he was the past president of the Simcoe Kinsmen Club, past chairman & member of the board of directors of Guild Stationers Ltd. (Office Pro), former owner of Porter's Stationers Ltd., the chairman of the “Score A Million” campaign to raise funds for the rebuild of Talbot Gardens, he was the MAC Tools distributor for Norfolk & Oxford counties and a member of the former “Friendship Festival Committee” as parade chairman.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Mike with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Monday, August 17th, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Simcoe (corner of Queen & Union St.) on Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. with Rev.
