McBRIDE, Howard Leslie - passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Thursday, February 26th, 2009 in his 81st year.  Beloved husband and best friend of Josephine “Jo” (nee Lowe) of Simcoe and the late Mae Fulsom (1995).  Loving father of Dwight McBride and his wife Donna of Cayuga, their children Kathryn (Randall), Karen (Sean), Julie & Stephanie;  Marlene Touesnard and her husband Ivan of Hagersville, their children Louise (John) & Lisa; Wayne McBride and his wife Lisa of Hagersville, their children Justin & Tyler.  Howard will be sadly missed by Josephine's children, Ron Hall of London, his children Elisha & Justin; and Chris Paauw and her husband Dirk of Waterford, their children Brad & Victoria.  Lovingly remembered by his great grandchildren Arielle, Adrienne, Ethan, Eve, Alyssah & Lindsay.  Howard is also survived by his sisters Jean Schaeffer (Stu), Laura Anderson (Harold), Helen Irwin (Larry) and by a brother Leonard Anderson (Dorothy).  Predeceased by his sister Eileen Fulsom; and by brothers Clifford & Ken McBride and John Anderson.  Howard retired from Hewitts Dairy after 50 years of service.  He was well known to his many customers in and around the Hagersville area.  He was a faithful member of Garnet United Church and more recently Mt. Zion United Church, Renton.  During his retirement years, Howard drove for Senior Support Services in Hagersville.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Howard with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Sunday, March 1st, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. John Maich officiating.  Interment:  Hagersville Cemetery, Monday at 2:00 p.m.  Memorial donations payable to Mt.
