de VRIES, L. Jane (nee Jelsma)  - promoted to the arms of her Lord and Saviour, surrounded by her loving family, at her home on Saturday, January 24th, 2009 in her 60th year.  Precious, devoted & loving wife of 25+ years to Berend de Vries of Simcoe.  Cherished mother of Michael de Vries and his wife Leslie of Hamilton and Emily de Vries of Simcoe.  Lovingly remembered by her siblings Harry Jelsma (Linda) of Delhi, John Jelsma (Nadine) of Waterdown, Bill Jelsma (Margaret) of Don Mills, Wilma Kohl (David) of Simcoe, Dyan Shippee of Burlington, Esther Oakes (Greg) of Port Ryerse and Mary Jelsma of Burlington.  Jane is also survived by Berend's siblings Marilyn Kloet (Martin) of Simcoe, Jessie Visser (George) of Simcoe, Klaas de Vries (Anne) of Townsend, Jacob de Vries (Carol Whitmore) of Lower Sackville, N.S., Tilly Vandersar (Peter) of Woodstock and Elly Esson (Ken) of Sherwood Park., Alberta.  Predeceased by her parents, John (2007) & Kay Jelsma (1988).  Jane was an insurance broker in London, Vittoria and most recently in Simcoe, employed with R.E. Mann Brokers Ltd.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Jane with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Tuesday, January 27th, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  A private family graveside burial will be held on Wednesday morning at Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe.  Following burial, a public memorial service will be held at Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church, Jarvis on Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Zach Olson officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations payable to the Jarvis District Christian School would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
