Death Notices

Harold Bowers of Simcoe, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, at Brantford General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Harold was in his 86th year and the beloved husband of Donna Bowers for 55 wonderful years. Dear brother of Jeanette Whynotte (late Gerry), Bill (Carole), Wayne (Karen), Allan (Jane), and Bob (Margaret). Predeceased by his parents, Jack and Myrtle Bowers; sister, Joan; brother John; and brothers-in-law, Eustace and Dave. Harold will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
