STRATFORD, Laurence E. - After a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s disease, the family announces the passing of Laurence E. Stratford at Cedarwood Village on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.Laurence was predeceased by his beloved wife Maryellen Stratford (née Bell), his parents Donald and Clara Stratford, and his brother John Stratford. He leaves behind his son Joseph Stratford (Brandi), grandchildren Michcal (Lisa), Katie, Katrina (Everette), Mitchell, and Madison, and great-grandchildren Lena Ray, Amelia Rose, Evelyn Marie, Michael, and Winston. He is also survived by his sisters Dale O’Brien (Wayne) and Heather Rutter (Mike), and his brothers Will (Rita) and Brian (Margie). Laurence was a man of deep faith who cherished his family above all else. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Waterford Legion (223 Nichol St. W., Waterford, ON).
