SHAVER, B. Paul – promoted to the loving arms of his Lord & Saviour at the Norview Lodge Nursing Home, Simcoe on Tuesday, September 16th, 2025 in his 84th year.  Beloved husband of Pauline Thiessen of Simcoe.  Loving father & grandfather of Leissa Shaver of Barrie, her children Katherine (Liam), Michael (Meaghan) & Emily; and Maria Shaver of Collingwood, her children Grace & Alexander.  Dear brother of Ivan Shaver of Toronto and brother-in-law Wayne Eckenstein of Woodstock.  Paul will be lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by his sister Ruth Eckenstein (2014) and brother Ronny Shaver (1960).  Friends are invited to share their memories of Paul with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Saturday, September 27th, 2025 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.  A service will follow visitation in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Lorne Hamp officiating.  Private Interment: Fairview Cemetery, Port Rowan at a later date.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Paul are asked to consider Precept Ministries or the Norfolk Pregnancy Center.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
