COWAN, Clarence “Roy” – passed away suddenly at the Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday, July 29th, 2025 in his 92nd year.  Beloved husband of the late Cynthia Cowan (nee Lloyd – 2022).  Loving father of Allan Cowan of Strathmore, AB, Wayne Cowan of Simcoe, Scott Cowan (Martha) of Delhi, Susie Armstrong (Steven) of Delhi and the late Jeff Cowan (2021), his wife Wendy of Simcoe.  Cherished grandfather & great grandfather of Matthew (Kyra), son Wylder; Cody (Laree);  Trevor (Keri); Tara, her children Avery & Lucas;  Andrew;  David (Renee), children Dylan, Thomas & Kaia; Justin; and Sarah, her son Eli.  Lovingly remembered by many siblings.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Roy with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Friday, August 1st, 2025 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Jamie Shurr officiating.  Interment:  Walsh United Cemetery.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Roy are asked to consider the Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.
