GUCH, Joan Marie (nee Dolenuck) - promoted to the loving arms of her Lord & Saviour at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Resurrection Sunday, April 20th, 2025 in her 82nd year.  Cherished & devoted wife of Peter Guch of Simcoe.  Loving mother of Geoff and Lisa.  Sadly missed by her brother John Dolenuck (Joan), by her aunt Olga (Dolly) Wilson, and by her aunt Betty Opersko.  Lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews, cousins & extended family.  Predeceased by her brother Wilton Dolenuck (Vera), her brother-in-law Andrew Szemegda (Julia),  her parents John and Mary Dolenuck, and in-law parents Nick and Tillie Guch.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Joan with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Thursday, April 24th, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.  Joan’s funeral service will be held at Grace Baptist Church, 735 Norfolk St. North Simcoe on Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastors Bill Hansford & Mike Holt officiating.  Interment: Greenwood Cemetery, Waterford.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Joan are asked to consider Compassion Canada, Grace Baptist Church or Samaritan’s Purse.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
