SMITH, Myrtle Aileen (nee Voigt) – surrounded by her loving family at the Delhi Long Term Care Home on Monday, April 7th, 2025 in her 99th year.  Beloved wife of the late Douglas Smith (2018).  Loving mother of Linda Kerry (Harold) and the late Mark Smith (2020), his wife Rose, all of Simcoe.  Cherished grandmother & great grandmother of Scott Kerry (Angie), children Brandon & Brooke;  Teresa Kerry (Paul);  the late Lisa Kerry (2011);  Steven Smith (Cheryl), children Tiffany, Austin & Courtney;  and Lori Silverthorn, children Dominick, Memphis & Larkin.  Myrtle will be sadly missed by her sister Evelyn Gundry (Doug) of Simcoe.  Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by her parents, the late Paul & Florence Voigt and by siblings Kathleen Jarvis, Helen Starling (late Robert) and Stanley Voigt (late Frances).  Friends are invited to share their memories of Myrtle with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North, Simcoe for visitation on Tuesday, April 15th, 2025 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.  A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Chaplain Erna Greenfield officiating.  Interment of ashes:  Woodhouse United Cemetery.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Myrtle are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Society of Haldimand-Norfolk or People Care - Delhi (Residence Fund).  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com  (519) 426-0199
