Death Notices

BOLLERT, Cheryl Frances (nee Abbey) – surrounded by her loving family at the Norview Lodge Nursing Home, Simcoe on Sunday, March 30th, 2025 in her 79th year.  Beloved wife of Robert Bollert of Simcoe.  Loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother of Sherry Bollert of Tillsonburg, her children Jordan McIntyre & Melissa McIntyre (Dave Johnston), their daughter Eleanora;  Rob Bollert (Jennifer) of Simcoe, their children Abbey (Ben Adams) & Paige;  and Scott Bollert (Marie Sauer) of London, children Carson, Presley & Coral-Ann.  Predeceased by her parents the late Clarence “Babe” (1986) & Coral (1981) and by her sister Marijane Gallea (2025).  Lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews & extended family.  Cheryl was a hairdresser for many years, owning her own salon the “Clip & Style”.  Together, she and Robert loved to travel and would spend many weekends on their boat cruising Turkey Point.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.  At Cheryl’s request, no public visitation or funeral will take place.  A private interment of ashes will be held at a later date.  Special thanks to the staff of Cedarwood Village & Norview Lodge for the care & compassion shown to Cheryl during her stay.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Cheryl are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Society of H-N or the Who Did It Club.  Donations may be made through the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
