TOWNSEND, Terrence Victor “Terry” - passed away at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday, March 24th, 2025 in his 96th year.  Beloved husband of Ruth Townsend (nee Forbes) of Simcoe, formerly Keswick.  Loving father of the late Lori Townsend (2023); Ernie Townsend (Irene) of Windham Centre, their children Ben (Lauren), Keri-Lyn (Justin), Nathan (Stephanie) & Tim (Olivia);  and Al Townsend of Sudbury.  Cherished grandfather & great grandfather to many grandchildren.  Dear brother of Russell Townsend (Caroline) of Nova Scotia.  Predeceased by his sisters Shirley Crowell & Myrtle Townsend.  Lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews & extended family.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Terry with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Friday, March 28th, 2025 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.  A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Andrew Bunner officiating.  Private family interment: King City Cemetery.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Terry are asked to consider Movement Church, Woodstock.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
