HART, Vera Edna Mary (nee Wiseman) - passed away peacefully at the Cedarwood Village Nursing Home, Simcoe on Sunday, January 5th, 2025 just 2 days shy of her 110th birthday.  Vera was the oldest living person in Ontario, her life spanning 6 generations.  She was the beloved wife of the late James MacMillian (1979) and the late Fred Hart (1989).  Loving mother of Jim MacMillian (Donna) of Simcoe and the late Joyce Moore (2006).  Cherished grandmother, great grandmother & great great grandmother of John MacMillan;  Patricia Messier & family; Debbie Bates & family; Linda Byrnes & family; Keith Bates & family and Neal Bates & family.  Lovingly remembered by Donna’s son Jason Waite of Brantford; children Liam, Moriah, Mia & MacKenzie.  A private family interment will be held in the spring at Beechwood Cemetery, Toronto.  The JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe in care of arrangements.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Vera are asked to consider a charity of one’s choice.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
