Death Notices

CARTER, Marita Cynthia (nee Paulick) - passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Friday, December 27th, 2024 in her 72nd year.  Beloved wife of Craig Carter of Langton.  Loving mother & grandmother of Christina DeRosia (Rick) of New York, their children Eric & Krysta Gage (Daniel).  Marita will be lovingly remembered by Craig’s children Steven Carter (John) of Orleans, David Carter (Thuy) of Langton and Nicholas Carter of Ottawa.  Sadly missed by her sister Karen Johnston (Dan) of St. Catharines.  A private family interment will be held at a later date.  The JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe in care of arrangements.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Marita are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
