Edward WASLOWSKI

WASLOWSKI, Edward – peacefully passed away at Cedarwood Village Nursing Home, Simcoe on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024 in his 93rd year.  Beloved husband of late Romona Waslowski (nee Gilbert – 2010), “his life-long sweetheart”.  Loving father and grandfather of Mike Waslowski (Kathy) of Simcoe, their children David & Becky;  Jane Baldwin (Richard) of Toronto, their daughter Brooke (Jon), daughter Eden;  Gary Waslowski (Rosemary) of Delhi, their daughters Jessica & Alaina;  Brian Waslowski (Veronica) of Simcoe, their daughters Jennifer Paton (Mike), children Paisley & Timothy; and Megan Waslowski (Chris);  Sandi Hogg (Jeff) of Paris, their daughters Melissa Legacy, Kristin Fernandes (Allan), their children Gabriella & Elijah; and Olivia Schulz (Jan), children Mila & Inara;  and Donnie Waslowski of Delhi, his children Krista (Brent), Chris (Morgan) & Craig.  Lovingly remembered by his siblings Maryann Diodati (Jim) and Henry Waslowski, both of Niagara Falls and by nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by siblings Irene Smatana & Bernice Passek.  In his early years he was known as the “Singer Sewing Machine Man” and later he opened his own dealership on the ninth concession just west of Greens Corners.  Ed & Romona also had a Family Christmas Tree adventure farm.  He loved the outdoors and spent lots of time hunting and cutting wood with his sons, but most of all, he was a family man.  His greatest joy was being surrounded by his children and grandchildren.  They were the focus and joy of his life.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Edward with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Friday, October 11th, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, (corner of Queen St. & Union St.) on Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
