Death Notices

LORD, Douglas Leroy - passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Tuesday, September 10th, 2024 in his 87th year.  Beloved husband of the late Pat Lord (nee Cronmiller – 2009).  Loving father of late Julia Bolton (2004), her husband Richard of Simcoe; Scott Lord (Judy) and Bill Lord (Debbie), both of Port Dover.  Cherished grandfather & great grandfather of Greg (Steph), son Nick;  Bob (Val), sons Liam & Oliver; Chuck; Breann Lord (Zac McDougall), son Owen; and Brooke Charles (Leroy), children Nevaeh, Braxton & Keelan.  Predeceased by his parents Stanley & Doris Lord; by his sister Donna Jackson (late Nagel) and by his brother David Lord.  A private family visitation was held at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe.  Interment followed at Mt.
