Death Notices

TYSOWSKI, Rose Teresa - passed away peacefully at Brierwood Gardens, Brantford on Thursday, August 15th, 2024 in her 105th year.  She was predeceased by her brothers Walter and Joe, and by her sisters Mary, Sophie and Frances.  Rose will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews & extended family.  Along with her brother Joe, Rose was a long-time resident of the Simcoe area and its farming community.  Rose was a kind, determined, hard-working lady who loved animals, especially dogs and cats.  She will be missed by relatives Shirley (Paul), Julia and Marilyn (Garry).  Also sadly missed by her family friend Ozzy and the staff of Brierwood Gardens, Brantford.  A graveside service will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Simcoe on Monday, August 19th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.  The JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe in care of arrangements.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Rose are asked to consider the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
