HERR, Edward Arnold – surrounded by his loving family at the Norview Lodge Nursing Home, Simcoe on Saturday, July 20th, 2024 in his 86th year.  Beloved husband of Paula Herr (nee Murphy) of Simcoe.  Loving father of the Late Douglas Herr (2024), Maureen Redmond (Dave), David Herr, both of Lethbridge, AB and Anali Herr (Dustin Kinzett) of Thunder Bay.  Cherished grandfather & great grandfather of Jordan Nickel; Sandy Gervais (Mike), son Hunter; Brandie Kasowan (Joe), children Jordynn & Bobbi; Brandon Redmond (Mary) and Aoife Kinzett.  Ed will be lovingly remembered by his sister Rita Peters (Wilf) of Saskatoon and by his brother Roy Herr (Betty) of High River, AB.  Ed will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by his brother Vern Herr.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Ed with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Wednesday, July 31st, 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.  A private family interment of ashes will be held at the Port Dover Cemetery.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Ed are asked to consider the Norview Lodge (cheques payable to “Norfolk County”).  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
