McDONNELL, Eileen (nee Grundy) – suddenly at the West Haldimand General Hospital, Hagersville on Saturday, July 20th, 2024 in her 88th year.  Beloved wife of the late William “Bill” McDonnell (2017).  Loving mother of “Billy” McDonnell of North Bay and Carol McDonnell (Eric Petras) of Selkirk.  Cherished grandmother & great grandmother of Christina Larose, her son Trevor.  Predeceased by her brother Gary Grundy.  A private family gathering will be held at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe on Monday, July 29th, 2024.  Private interment at a later date.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Eileen are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
