GHESQUIERE, Herry Remi – surrounded by loving family at the Oakville Trafalgar Hospital on Sunday, June 9th, 2024 in his 96th year.  Beloved husband of 67+ years to Jeannine Ghesquiere (nee Moerman) of Oakville.  Loving father & grandfather of Dr. Wayne Ghesquiere (Cindy Lundy) of Victoria, B.C., children Breanne (David) & Chanel;  Carl Ghesquiere (Patricia) of Spain, daughters Olivia & Charlotte;  Jane Vogel (Wally) of Mississauga, daughters Alexa (Kabir) & Courtney (John); and Dr. Mark Ghesquiere (Kristen) of Simcoe, children Michael, Madi (Ian), Sage & David.  Cherished great grandfather of Kian.  Herry will be sadly missed by his sisters Marie-Joseph Vanholme (late Wilfred) of Belgium and Marie-Justine Vervaeke (late Roger) of Simcoe.  Predeceased by his brothers Bill Ghesquiere (1987) and Danny Ghesquiere (2005).  Lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews & extended family.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Herry with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation of Friday, June 14th, 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  A funeral will be held in the chapel on Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr.
