McGHIE, Heather Marie - passed away peacefully at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Sunday, May 26th, 2024 in her 66th year.  Beloved wife of 41+ years to Jim Smith of Simcoe.  Loving mother of Justin McGhie (Katie) of Beamsville and James Smith (Kacie) of Port Dover.  Cherished grandmother of Parker & Tenleigh Smith.  Dear sister of Lee Wright of Elmira.  Lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by her parents Jim & Zelda McGhie and by brothers Jamie McGhie and Bobby Wright.  A private interment of ashes will be held at a later date.  The JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe in care of arrangements.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Heather are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
