DOODY, Carole Anne (nee Curtis) – surrounded by her loving family at her home in Simcoe on Tuesday, May 21st, 2024 in her 79th year.  Beloved wife of Robin Doody of Simcoe.  Cherished mother & grandmother of Lindsay Priddle (Mike Johnson) of Simcoe, her children Blayke & Evan and the late Sean Doody (2017).  Dear sister of Sandra Leigh (Ian) and Julie Blackwell (Brian), both of the United Kingdom. Lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews & extended family.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Carole with her family at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 211 Union St. Simcoe where a funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 27th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Charles Akinloye as celebrant.  The JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe in care of arrangements.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Carole are asked to consider the Brantford General Hospital – Cancer Clinic or the Juravinski Cancer Centre.  The family wish to extend special thanks to the Steadman Outreach team, Dr. N. McConnell, the VON, ParaMed & Care Partners nurses for the wonderful care they provided Carole during her illness.
