SMITH, Gary Albert - on this beautiful day of May 8th, 2024; we mark the day that this world lost the most amazing, important, husband, father, grandfather and the absolute best friend we all could ask for.  The family appreciates the amount of love and support everyone has shown throughout the last 3 years of his precious life, it truly means the world to us. More than you can ever imagine.  We know this is going to hit some of you hard like it has for us but please know that this is the last thing he would want.  His wishes are that we carry the strength he carried, we share the laughter he created, and make others smile because you never know what someone’s going through.  We will be hosting a celebration of life bbq at the Smith farm in Norfolk when the sun is shining and the flowers are blooming.  We will plant a tree, a red oak in his memory so that we all can drink one more whiskey by his side.  The date is undecided at the moment.  We love you and you will never be forgotten.  ❤️rest in paradise father.
