MARTIN, Heather Ina (nee Gordon) – passed away at her home on Sunday, April 7th, 2024 in her 84th year.  Beloved wife of the late Gerald McCarty Sr. & Clifford Martin.  Loving mother of Kelly McCarthy-Duesling (Tim) of Simcoe, Gerald McCarthy (Jane) of Port Dover and Peter McCarthy of Simcoe.  Cherished grandmother & great grandmother of Kerry Walker; Shelby & Jarrett McCarthy & Alexis McCarthy, (son Tatum).  Predeceased by her parents, the late Timothy & Ina Gordon.  Heather enjoyed the companionship of many cats that often showed up on her doorstep over the years.  At Heather’s request, cremation has taken place.  Arrangements entrusted to the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Heather are asked to consider Purrfect Companions Animal Rescue.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
