MEREWEATHER, Fern Lucille (nee Lockwood) – passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Sunday, March 24th, 2024 in her 89th year.  Beloved wife of the late Murray Mereweather (1996).  Loving mother & grandmother of Clayton Mereweather (Cheryl) of Simcoe, children Michael (Julie) & Jamie;  Randy Mereweather (Carey) of Sault Ste. Marie, children Sandy, Randy Jr. & Denny;  Jeff Mereweather (Lucia) of Port Dover, children Krystle (James) & Jennifer (Jason);  Eadie McIntyre of Simcoe, her daughter Kaisha; and Lori Anne Tomaino (Frank) of Strathroy, children Marco, Joshua & Elisha.  Proud great grandmother of Kira, Liam, Blake, Kahlan, Chase, Carter, Samantha & Raymond.  Fern will be lovingly remembered by many siblings & extended family.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Fern with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Wednesday, March 27th, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jay Black officiating.  Interment: Vittoria Baptist Cemetery.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Fern are asked to consider Calvary Church or the Juravinski Cancer Centre.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
