SMITH, Charles Edwin “Chuck” – passed away at the Brantford General Hospital on Friday, March 8th, 2024 in his 96th year.  Beloved husband of the late Joan Smith (nee McKone – 2018).  Loving father of Derek Smith (Marnie) of Green’s Corners and step father to Brad Forbeck (Jo ann) of Stratford.  Proud grandfather of Jacob Smith, Tina Forbeck-Grasby (Bruce) & Chad Forbeck and their families.  Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by his siblings Donna Walker, Lorraine VanDyk, Donald, Leland & Willis Smith.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Chuck with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Monday, March 11th, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Terry Cooper officiating.  Interment:  Walsh United Cemetery.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Chuck are asked to consider a charity of one’s choice.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
