Death Notices

BAHULA, Eleanor Marguerite (nee Lloyd) – passed away at the Cedarwood Village Nursing Home, Simcoe  Tuesday, February 13th, 2024 in her 85th year.  Beloved wife of the late John Bahula (1998).  Loving mother & grandmother of Stephanie Binder (John) of Delhi, children Courtney (Jake) & Ryan (Madie);  Brenda Haselmayer (Rick) of Simcoe, children Jessica (fiancé Tyler) & Sarah; and Kim Takacs (Chris) of Simcoe, children Emily & Tyler.  Eleanor will be sadly missed by her brothers George Lloyd (Deanna) of Greens Corners and Bruce Lloyd (Shirley) of Walsh.  Lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by her brother Lyle Lloyd (late Carol).  Eleanor was a long time member of Walsh Baptist Church and the Donnybrook Fair Board.  A celebration of Eleanor’s life will be held the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 79 Simcoe on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Eleanor are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Society of H-N.  Donations may be made at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe.  Many thanks to the wonderful staff of Cedarwood Village for their kindness and excellent care.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
