ATKINSON, Jean Audrey (nee Copeland) - promoted to the loving arms of her Lord & Saviour at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Monday, February 5th, 2024 in her 90th year.  Beloved wife of the late George Atkinson (2008).  Loving mother of Sharan Thicke (Cal) of Port Dover, Mark Atkinson (Annemarie) of London, Janice Jacobson (Douglas) of Port Dover, Ruth Bodnar (Chuck) of London, Owen Atkinson (late Marlene), his partner Melody of Simcoe, Linda Brearley (John) of Silver Hill and Paul Atkinson (Haley) of Walsingham.  Cherished grandmother & great grandmother of the late infants Tammy & Julie; Sarah (Tobias), sons Brady & Tyson;  Heather (Marcus), sons Roman & Hendrix; Sarah (Chris), daughter Stella; Jeremy; the late Tozé (Christine); Billie-Jo (Donny), sons Amos & Isiah;  Joshua; Petra (Kevin); Tiffany (Henry); Jonathan (Nikole), children Maddox & Tessa; and Abby.  Sadly missed by her brother Roger Copeland of Delhi.  Lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by her brother Rod Copeland.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Jean with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Thursday, February 8th, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  A home-going service will be held from Calvary Church, Ireland Rd.
