Death Notices

ROAKE, J. Douglas - passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Monday, February 5th, 2024 in his 81st year.  Dear brother of Doris Wilson and Marion Simmons (late Charles), both of Simcoe.  Doug will be lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by his brother Don Roake (late Marion).  A private interment of ashes will be held at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North, Simcoe.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing to donate in memory of Doug are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
