RAYMOND, M. Madeline – promoted to the loving arms of her Lord & Saviour on Thursday, January 18th, 2024 in her 97th year.  Beloved wife of the late Cleo Raymond (2015).  Loving mother of Dave Raymond (Margaret) of Waterford and the late Katharane Sage (2006), her husband Robert (Linda) of Simcoe.  Cherished grandmother & great grandmother of James (Amy), children Kristina, Jameson & Alexander;  Rebecca Duarte (Claudio), children Matthew & Sarah;  and Ashley Goncalves-Medeiros (Bruno), children Joshua, Eva & Antonio.  Predeceased by her siblings Marion Bouk (late Walter), Myrtle Stevens, Mildred Torrance, Muriel Carl (late Bill), Morley Lucas (late Eva), Murray Lucas (late Fern) and Melbourne Lucas (late Edna).  Madeline will be lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews & extended family.  Friends were invited to share their memories of Madeline with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe.  A private visitation & service will be held in the chapel with Pastor Andrew Pearce officiating.  Private interment:  Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Walsingham.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Madeline are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
