DeBOCK, Augustan John “Stan” – suddenly at his home on Saturday, December 9th, 2023 in his 78th year.  Beloved husband of Ria DeBock (nee Casier) of Courtland.  Loving father & grandfather of Tanya Tostik (Kevin) of Delhi, children Isabella & Jakob;  Tina Gates (Tim) of Delhi, children Taylor, Trinity & Tessa;  Amanda DeBock (Craig Belsey) of Delhi, children Alexis & Alaina;  and Alissa Lewis (Kyle) of Delhi, children Faith & Luke.  Stan will be sadly missed by Ria’s sister Norma LeBeer of Simcoe.  Lovingly remembered by close family friends Rick Caudron & Mark Hubbard as well as nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours & life long friends.  Predeceased by his sisters, the late Justine Pierssens (late Alfonse), Rosie Verbuyst (late Willy), his niece Patricia VanGulck and by nephews Wayne & Lee Pierssens.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Stan with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Tuesday, December 12th, 2023 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Stan’s funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Mullin officiating.  Interment Delhi Cemetery.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Stan are asked to consider Crohn’s & Colitis Canada or the Simcoe & District Humane Society.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
