LOUKS, Donald Harold -  surrounded by his loving family at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Monday, October 23rd, 2023 in his 81st year.  Beloved husband of Beth Louks (nee Carter) of Simcoe.  Loving father of Sarah Cookson (Dale) of Jarvis, their children Ann-Marie, Laura Lynn & Carrie Beth;  and David Louks (Jessica) of Simcoe, their children Faith & Alyssa.  Dear brother of Dean Louks (Donna) of Tillsonburg.  Don will be lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by Beth’s siblings, her brother, the late Roy Carter (Phyllis) and sister, the late Elsie Finch (Jack).  Friends are invited to share their memories of Don with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Wednesday, October 25th, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.  Don’s funeral service will be held from First Baptist Church, 129 Young St., Simcoe on Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastors Darrell Maguire & Allan Burr officiating.  Interment:  Bloomsburg Cemetery.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Don are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.  Special thanks to the Emerg & ICU staff of Norfolk General Hospital for their wonderful care & compassion during Don’s stay.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
