COSTIGAN, Michael Edwin - surrounded by his loving family at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Wednesday, October 18th, 2023 in his 71st year.  Beloved husband of Julie Costigan (nee Jones) of Simcoe.  Cherished father & grandfather of Laura Costigan (Paul O’Sullivan) of London, son Cathal;  and Heather Smith (Mike) of St. Williams, sons Wesley, James & Jered.  Loving brother of Gary (Joan), Marlene Costigan, both of Simcoe, Nancy Bourque (Tom) of Sarnia, Kevin (Lori) of Simcoe, Barbara Robinson (Richard) of Port Dover and Steven Rendall (Colleen) of Beausejour, MB.  Lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by his parents, the late Edwin Costigan & Theresa (nee Harte) and by his step-mother Harriett (nee Little).  Mike, a storyteller extraordinaire, and lifelong Montreal Canadiens and Alouettes fan; he will be sorely missed.  A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.  The JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe in care of arrangements.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Michael are asked to consider Cystic Fibrosis Canada or the McMaster Children’s Hospital.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
