GORDY, John – passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Wednesday, September 13th, 2023 in his 80th year.  Beloved husband of 53+ years to Christine Gordy (nee Miller) of Simcoe.  Loving father of Jason Gordy of Simcoe.  Dear brother to Helen Colombus (late Victor) and the late Bill Gordy (Beatrice), both of Simcoe.  John will be lovingly remembered by his nieces Rosemary Stickle of Vittoria, Lena Witzel (Larry) of Port Dover, Helen Ann Arthur of London and by his nephews Ronnie Mandryk (Cindy) of Port Dover, Allan Gordy of London and Steven Gordy of Sauble Beach.  A private family graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe.  Arrangements entrusted to the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North, Simcoe.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing to donate in memory of John are asked to consider the Simcoe Special Olympics.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
