STEINHOFF, B. Jean (nee Waddle) – passed away at the Hardy Terrace Long Term Care Home, Mt. Pleasant on Sunday, September 10th, 2023 in her 95th year.  Predeceased by her beloved husband Jim Steinhoff (1990).  Loving mother of Dianne Reim (Terry) of Cambridge, Russell Steinhoff (late Terry) of BC, Brenda Austin (Jonas Edelman) of Brantford & Edward Steinhoff (Irene) of Simcoe.  Cherished grandmother & great grandmother of Jim (Barb), children AJ & Andrew;  Denise (Dwayne), children Mitchell, Carter & Ema;  Jamie (late Ella), children Conrad, Oliver & Clara;  Carly, children Evelyn & Henry;  Lindsay (Maritess), daughter Kailey;  Wes (Lacey), children Rocco & Axel;  Kirby;  Kelsey; Kendal (James) & James.  Lovingly remembered by her sister Joyce Morris (late Chuck) of Simcoe and by nieces, nephews & extended family.  Jean was predeceased by her son-in-law Dale Austin (1997), her close friend Alex Witherspoon (2006) and by her sister Iris Cooke (2009).  Friends are invited to share their memories of Jean with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Wednesday, September 13th, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Jean’s funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Mullin officiating.  Interment:  Port Dover Cemetery.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Jean are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Society of H-N or the Canadian Diabetes Association.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
