FERREIRA, Joaquim de Jesus - surrounded by his loving family at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Monday, August 14th, 2023 in his 89th year.  Beloved husband of the late Irene Ferreira (2015).  Loving father & grandfather of Gina Gallippi (Mario) of Milton, children Nuno Jr. (fiancée Lorena), Jessica & Victoria;  Gil Ferreira (Rachel) of Brantford, children Lillian & Noah;  Anita Cabral (Eddie) of Milton, children Emily & Olivia;  and Nelson Ferreira of Simcoe, children Tara & Irene.  Lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews & extended family.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Joaquim with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Friday, August 18th, 2023 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.  Parish prayers will be said Friday evening at 8:00 p.m.  Joaquim’s funeral mass will be held from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 211 Union St., Simcoe (corner of Union St. & Queen St.) on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr.
