Death Notices

WOODS, Winnifred Mary (nee Shaw) – passed away at the Brantford General Hospital on Friday, August 11th, 2023 in her 85th year.  Beloved wife of the late Luis Woods (2002).  Loving mother of Anne Marie Robbins, Christina Whitlock (Richard), Shirley Marion (Alain), John Woods (Heather), Cindy Lewis (Spike) and Beverly Zirkle (Rob).  Winnifred will be lovingly remembered by many grandchildren & great grandchildren.  A private committal of ashes will take place at Marlington Cemetery, Quebec at a later date.  The Jason Smith Funeral Chapel, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe in care of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing to donate in memory of Winnifred are asked to consider a charity of one’s choice.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
