THOMPSON, “Peggy” Margaret Irene Mildred (nee Parker) - surrounded by her loving family at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Wednesday, August 9th, 2023 in her 87th year.  Beloved wife of the late Ken Thompson (2006).  Loving mother of Patricia Miles (Brian Allen) of Sutton, Gary Thompson (Nancy) of Simcoe, Brian Thompson (Christine) of Simcoe, Sharon Hewitt (Harold) of Tillsonburg, Shirley Downs (Jack) of Simcoe, Gord Thompson (Brenda) of Simcoe and Richard Thompson of Toronto.  Cherished grandmother & great grandmother of Ryan (Danielle);  Jennifer (Brian), children Ryan & Taylor;  Jason (Tracey), children Cassandra & Abigail;  Nathan; Tiffany (Luke), children Brooklynn, Logan, Shlya, Ravyn, Linkin & Willow; Christopher (Alicia), daughter Skye;  Kevin (Leah), children Lydia & Zeke;  Katelyn;  Rebecca;  Carrie, son Dominic;  and Laura.  Dear sister of Jack Parker (Sharon) of Port Dover.  Predeceased by siblings Betty Ammermen, June Waite, Annie Carter & Bill Parker.  Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews & extended family.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Peggy with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Mullin officiating.  Private interment of ashes at a later date.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Peggy are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
