MACGREGOR, Jean (nee Cole) - passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Wednesday, July 26th, 2023 in her 98th year.  Beloved wife of the late Allan MacGregor (1999).  Loving mother of Rod MacGregor (Lori) of Woodstock, Cam MacGregor (Kathy) of Whitby and Brian MacGregor (Ruthanne) of Simcoe.  Cherished grandmother of James (Luannie), Mark, Colin (Jessica), Cheryl (Chris), Brianne (Chase) and Bailee (Mike).  Dear great-grandmother of Jack, Brier and Max.  Predeceased by one sister Florence Foster.  Also surviving are 2 nephews and extended family.  Jean will be remembered for her love of knitting and crocheting and has donated many items over the years to the “Mitten-Tree” at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Simcoe.  Interment at Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North, Simcoe.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Jean are asked to consider the St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Simcoe.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
