ROBERTS, Walter Douglas – surround by loving family at his home on Wednesday, July 5th, 2023 in his 69th year.  Beloved husband of Marilyn Roberts (nee Herbert) of Simcoe.  Cherished father & grandfather of Jason Roberts (Rebecca) of Pine Grove, children Mackenzie & Paytn;  and Michele Roberts (Andrew Munday) of Simcoe, children Leslie, Brandon, Dustin, Faith & London.  Walter will be sadly missed by his siblings Gail Landry (late Jack) of Brantford, Sharon Roberts (late Fred) of Brantford, Darlene Wright (Daryl) of Lethbridge, AB;  Laura Pierce (Robert) of BC and Wayne Roberts (Chris) of Brantford.  Lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews & extended family.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Walter with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.  A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Chaplain Erna Greenfield officiating.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Walter are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
