EVANKO, Joan Margaret (nee McCullough) -  passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Sunday, May 21st, 2023 in her 84th year.  Beloved wife of the late Alfred McCrea and the late John Evanko.  Loving mother of Fred McCrea (Helene) of Ottawa, their daughter Cynthia Lohnes (Matt);  and Bob McCrea (Carole) of Saskatoon, children Robert, Anthony & Khalayla (Rob).  Lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by her brother, the late Henry McCullough (Colette) of Trois Rivieres, QC.  Joan volunteered in several capacities at both the Norfolk General Hospital and the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Joan with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation of Wednesday, May 31st, 2023 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.  A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 11:00 a.m.  Private interment of ashes at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing to donate in memory of Joan are asked to consider the Parkinson’s Society of Southwestern Ontario.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
