SIMOES, Pompeu da Piedade - surrounded by his loving family at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Sunday, April 30th, 2023 in his 75th year.  Beloved husband of Jacqueline Simoes of Simcoe.  Loving father & grandfather of Sabrina Mendes (Stephen) of Simcoe, children Rylan & Trey;  Cynthia Gagnon (Gregg) of Simcoe, daughter Ana; and Nelson Simoes & his family of Calgary.  Sadly missed by his sister Piedade Carvalho (Adelino) of Simcoe.  Lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by his brother Manuel Simoes (his wife Belmira) of Simcoe.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Pompeu with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Parish prayers will be shared Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m.  A funeral mass will be held from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, corner of Queen St. & Union St., Simcoe on Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
