Death Notices

MAHONEY, Robert Daniel – after a courageous battle with cancer, passed away at the Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton on Tuesday, April 25th, 2023 in his 62nd year.  Predeceased by his father Earl Mahoney; mother Gloria Mahoney and brother Darren Mahoney.  Survived by brother Rick Mahoney of Simcoe, Diana Martino (Ron) of Port Perry, Ron Mahoney (Carla) of Simcoe and Melinda Mathews (Stewart) of Selkirk.  Robert loved working on computers and would reach his nephew Ryan how to work on them.  He was proud of his many nieces & nephews.  He had a great love for his family.  He loved his little dog Gizzmo “Gizzy”.  A private family graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe.  The JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. N.
